Welcome back fam to da blog!
June was a very slow month. And by slow I mean very restful. After hard work all year at school it was just the month I needed to reset and rejuvenate. Overall it was a very good month. I went to camp, watched Mamma Mia too many times, and cleaned basically the whole house.
How has the LORD been moving in my life this month? Today I had the pleasure of teaching in kid’s church. This means I got to lead the Bible lesson as well as some activities. I was so nervous before starting but I prayed about it and was washed with peace. I always have so much fun with the kiddos and today the energy was amazing.
On the Race there’s going to be a good chunk of children’s ministry. Today, and the other weeks I serve in kid’s church, got me extra excited for the children’s ministry on the field. I’m eager to spread the love of Jesus to future generations across the world. I’m also so blessed by the opportunity to serve at my church and serve the future generations right here in Los Angeles. God is moving so powerfully in their lives and its truly amazing to witness.
Fundraising Update: I’m currently 22% funded for the race. I still have $15,120 to raise before I leave. If you have any questions about what I’ll be doing on the World Race, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to answer all questions or just have a chat with you about what God is doing and preparing me. If you do feel led to support me financially, any amount would be an immense blessing.
I leave in 60 days! WOW!

Song of the Week: At the Altar by Elevation Rhythm. I really love this song because it reminds me of the never ending power of God. He takes our deepest sorrows, hardest trials, biggest joys and makes them beautiful. It reminds me that not matter how far I have strayed each time he welcomes me back and continues to love me and use me. The lyric “He can use anything, sit back and watch Him” speaks to his power. How everything you offer can be used for the betterment of the Kingdom. How your life is in His hands and he will make it beautiful if you let him.
Prayer requests: Prayer for being fully funded before I leave in August. Prayer over me and my squad as we are preparing to go out into the nations. Prayer over the people we are going to meet, that hearts would be softened to receive Jesus.
With so much love,
Mieko <3
