K121 leaders! MY FAVS!

Wow wow wow! And just like that summer is over. It was really a good one. So much growth and love all around. I have been so blessed with all the opportunities I was able to participate in this summer. Each piece helped me grow as a person, friend, and disciple of Jesus.

How has the LORD been moving in my life recently? I got to go to LifeTeen camp with ND where God showed me once again that He is MORE than enough! I served at Forest Home as a CCA for the very last time and He reminded me of all the wonderful people I’ve had in my life that have made me who I am today. I got to serve as a rector on Kairos 121 at ND. Here He showed me the big ways He is moving in the lives of students on ND’s campus. Pictures of these at the bottom!

The past few weeks have been quite bittersweet because on the one hand I’m so so excited to serve on the World Race for the next 9 months. But on the other hand I’m sad to not see the people who mean so much to me for the next 9 months. I know there’s going to be so much growth but I’m still going to miss my people. But it’s just a see you later, not a goodbye.

I served in kid’s church for the last time this past Sunday. Even just looking back at where I was 2 months ago, scared to say the wrong thing or leave the kids bored, I’ve grown so much in being able to teach the kids about Jesus in ways that they understand.

Fundraising Update: I’m currently 92% funded for the race!! This is CRAZY! GOD IS SO GOOD! When I think about this I’m just truly blown away. JEHOVAH JIREH! The LORD PROVIDES! We know this, I know this. But still when it happens and I can tangibly see it, it just makes me want to jump up and down until my legs fall off! I still have a little under $1500 to raise. Please prayerfully consider donating. If you have any questions about the World Race or what I’ll be doing for the next 9 months please reach out and let’s chat.

When thinking about how the Lord has provided thus far, my mind jumps to a conversation I had with one of my counselors at camp. She said that sometimes money seems like this huge obstacle but it’s nothing for God. A few months ago I was having some doubts, like if God wanted me to go on the World Race then He would provide the funds for it. And when the funds didn’t come I was questioning if I had even heard God’s voice correctly when He called me. Now I know for certain, He did call me and He does provide even when it seems impossible to my little human brain.

Song of the Week: Holy Spirit Welcome by Bridge Worship. This song is first off, FIRE. Second, it is a great reminder to invite the Holy Spirit into every moment of the day. The line, “One moment in Your presence, can change everything” is so so powerful. Because if one moment in His presence can change everything, imagine how much can change if every moment is in His presence.

Prayer Requests: Prayer that I will be able to pack exactly what I need and not be stressed about not having certain things. Prayer over safe travels, my team and I will all be flying into Georgia this week. Prayer for good goodbyes, that we wouldn’t be sad that we’re leaving but happy we have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Prayer over the relationship of my team, that we would all get along well and bond as we get to know each other.

Big love,
