Hi friends!
Training camp is officially over. These last three weeks has taught me so much in such a short amount of time. It has truly been amazing! These people in this place make my heart so happy. And we also won squad wars! LETS GO! C squad on top!
Firstly, I’ve learned to appreciate so many little things. For example, we’ve only been able to use portapotties and had to wash all our dishes by hand. I slept in a tent and ended up sleeping in a hammock because my sleeping pad broke.
How has God been moving in my life? So much has happened and it’s hard to condense into a short blog. But some big themes have been learning the Father’s heart for me. He sees me as his little child who He takes delight in. Really knowing this about my identity is changing not only how I view myself but how I view others. He has been giving His eyes to see his people and I’m loving this new perspective. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come, and the old has died. We can all have new life in Jesus. It truly is only the blood that can transform and it is so joyful!
Fundraising update! I’m fully funded! Thank you God. When God calls, He provides.
Prayer requests: Pray for unity over my team and squad. Pray for receptive hearts to receive the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for boldness over my team to proclaim the goodness of God.
Song of the week: Center by Bethel Music feat. Abbie Gamboa. This song has been on repeat for all of training camp. There’s one line that says “If my days tell a story, let it be of You only”. SUCH A BANGER WOW. It’s an excellent reminder of my whole life purpose. At the end of the day Jesus is the most important thing and I pray that everything I do glorifies Him and Him alone.
